Bally Home Library Computer

The Bally Home Library Computer (HLC) is the very first model of the system that later became known as the Astrocade. It was originally scheduled for release in 1977 but did not make it to market until 1978. The HLC was available only by mail order and is considered to be the rarest Astrocade model. Very few are known to be in working condition.

Bally HLCOver the past two years, I have seen this model appear on eBay only once before June 2013, when this listing appeared.

The ending price was $355 after 9 bids. The lot included the console, original box and foam, four controllers, Bally Basic CIB, and 15 cartridges in their original cassette cases, most with instructions.
