ColecoVision (New in Box)

Even relatively common retro systems such as the ColecoVision can command impressive prices when they are new in the box, each accessory intact as it was over thirty years ago. For such an item, a week-long auction involving multiple bidders provides a very reliable figure as the item’s true value.

In July 2013, this eBay listing prompted seven bidders to place thirty-seven bids. Final bid: $493.88, about four times the original price in 1982!
